Skip, a native of Georgia has called the state home since 1957. He earned a business degree from Mercer University in Macon. He and his wife, Sheri, have been married for 43 years and raised two children who attended Berkeley Lake Elementary. Their positive experience with the area led them to retire in the River District neighborhood in 2014. Since that time Skip represented the River District HOA board for five years and was elected president for two terms.
His career and passion existed in the outdoor industry business for 43 years. He was the Owner/Managing Partner of a 12-man sales organization
representing manufacturers in the fishing, hunting, and law enforcement
product arena for the 10 southeastern states.
As an avid outdoorsman since the age of 15, he learned crucial skills and ethics regarding animal behavior, feeding patterns, wildlife and habitat management, along with a deep
appreciation and understanding of nature.
Skip is eager to serve and help our city and community flourish.
