Bill and wife Sandy first moved to Berkeley Lake in 1979 and quickly became involved in the community. He has been active in the past as Vice President and then President of the Berkeley Lake Homeowners Association (HOA), on the Chapel Board, City Council and various other activities. He was President of the HOA when the HOA acquired the Beach Area.
Bill is a veteran of the US Army. He studied with the University of Maryland, University of Wisconsin and graduated from Northern Illinois University. His early career involved working with Union Oil Company and the US Chamber of Commerce. Later, he worked with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as an International Business Management Consultant with a focus on integrating health and safety into clients’ tactical and strategic management plans. This involved facilitating seminars, auditing Business Systems and Consulting. This provided an opportunity to live in Australia, England, Kuwait and Ireland. He and Sandy returned to their home in Berkeley Lake in 2007 after an eleven-year absence.
In his free time, he enjoys metal sculpting, walking, working in the yard and attempting to learn the violin.
Bill wants to help ensure our unique City will continue to provide an excellent living environment for all.
